About the team
As part of the Cards and Money Movement Professional Services team, you will work across various platforms and technology sets, engaging with clients and internal stakeholders to design and develop innovative solutions.

What you will be doing
You will be responsible for design, development and implementation of application specific solutions, working directly with clients and internal product teams across various lines of businesses.
u2022 Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project.
u2022 Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
u2022 Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
u2022 Maintains, tests and integrates application components.
u2022 Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code
u2022 Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented.
u2022 Demonstrates an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry.
u2022 Analyzes requirements and translates business requirements into product designs.
u2022 Writes technical specifications and other forms of documentation.
u2022 Suggests technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems.
u2022 Completes project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.
u2022 Conducts planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks.
u2022 May participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations.

What you bring:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

u2022 Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, agile and other modern approaches to software development
u2022 Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines through Unified Modeling Language (UML), use cases, etc.
u2022 Strong background in mainframe application technology, including COBOL, DB2, IMS DB/DC and JCL

Added bonus if you have:
u2022 Payments domain (transaction processing, card issuing) knowledge is a plus.
u2022 Prior experience with open systems technologies is a plus - C++, Java
