Description: Our client is currently seeking a Software Engineer - Mainframe (Cobol)
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON W2. (NO H1 OR C2C WILL BE ACCEPTED)
- These roles are straightforward mainframe development. It will be primarily application upgrades as opposed to new development and, must meet data security requirements
- Upgrading Cobol from 5.2 to 6.2
- Must have strong Cobol, CICS, DB2
- Prior JPMC experience a huge plus
- Any experience with distributed technologies (Java) a big plus
- Experience with some sort of file transfer technology. NDM most preferred as that’s what they’re running now but doesn’t have to be NDM
