The Client is look for a Senior Programmer Analyst . This is a Direct Hire Order. working for a very well known Insurance Company in New Haven, CT. Incudes an excellent benefit plan including 4 weeks vacation and a pension plan! 

Most likely will start working remotely to begin but when they are back in the office this person will be required to be onsite every day.

Job Summary
The Senior Programmer Analyst designs and develops system solutions to business needs, using senior-level tools and techniques. They Analyze, code, design, test, document and support the computer application software systems that are developed and maintained within the Organization.

BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.

At least 10 years related work experience in systems analysis or programming or equivalent combination of training and experience.

ITIL Foundation certificate is preferred, a plus and nice to have if possible.
 
M-F, 8 am 5 pm

•**K-***K/year. Some flexibility if candidate has right skills set and experience for instance, if they have and are strong in both Cobol and DB2; Java, JavaScript, HTML and SQL. 

Manager looking for a more senior Programmer, 10+ years of experience, with Cobol and DB2 experience along with HTML, Java, JavaScript, SQL and JCL (cobol) experience. Life Insurance experience is a plus along with Ingenium not required but a nice to have. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a cross-functional team environment with Client, Developers, and Testers. Being familiar and working in an Agile environment is also a plus, nice to have.
