RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Engineer (COBOL, JCL, DB2) in Johnston, Rhode Island (RI).

Summary:
A mainframe developer with Cobol, JCL, and Db2 skills to help to support our URS system. The Senior Engineer will work with URS whose system we use to pay our reinsurers. It has a Java front-end, Db2 database, and many jobs/programs that get run off the mainframe. This role is to learn how to support our URS system and backup our in-house URS support person. They would work with our existing mainframe support team.

Responsibilities include:
* Production support for URS system
* Look at existing code, fix issues, JCL, and procedure/job running
* Senior Engineer is setting up new users

REQUIREMENTS:
* Mainframe development and URS system experience
* JCL and DB2 database experience
