CSWT COO Risk organization is seeking a subject matter expert with COBOL/Mainframe experience to perform Quality Assurance (QA) on evidence, to evaluate an application’s level of compliance with Mainframe Critical Batch Input File controls. The role will support sustainable actions for evidence-based validation of control compliance and creation of a standard QA process and framework, including training materials that can be applied in various risk programs. This role may also include assistance with or leading special technical projects as required.

Required Skills

  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills with ability to positively influence and motivate others, enjoys working in a team environment
  • Technical skills in COBOL/DB2/CICS and preferably batch development skills in Mainframe
  • 3-5+ years of Audit, Risk or controls experience
  • Strong analytical ability is required to perform quality assurance/analyze existing code and review output against information security compliance requirements
  • Strong verbal and technical writing skills
  • Understanding of risk mitigating strategies in effort to address key technology areas of concern
  • Demonstrates time management, accountability, ownership and organizational skills
  • Drives timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input and when to act independently

Desired Skills

  • Ability to demonstrate subject matter knowledge in a variety of technology and/or information security processes
  • Subject matter knowledge involving Consumer Banking and Wealth Management Brokerage businesses
  • Foundational business acumen in Risk and Controls
  • Technical knowledge of systems and related infrastructure/architecture
  • Prior business process management or control framework knowledge
  • Ability to understand systematic evidence as it relates to IT processes
  • QA / Testing experience
  • Experience with Enterprise Change Framework processes and deliverables
  • Someone who is self-motived and can work well independently
