Genesis10 is actively seeking (2) Cobol Mainframe Developers for a leading insurance institution. This is a 12-month contract position in Cleveland, OH.

Description:

• Code, debug and support business application software with a focus on COBOL in an IBM Mainframe environment
• Analyze end-user and usability requirements
• Design and write program specifications for enhancements based on consultations with supervisors, project leaders, analysts, other programmers, and end-users while assuming all responsibility for successful implementation
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, Business Analysts and Quality Assurance Analysts
• Perform thorough and exhaustive unit, integration and system testing

Required:

• 7+ years of Mainframe Development, Support, and Maintenance
• Experienced in Mainframe Technologies like COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, DB2, PROCS
• Experience with the IBM mainframe and TSO
• SQL script writing experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Comprehensive understanding of database structures, principles, theories and practices
