Job Description:

Seeking a Sr. level DataStage Engineer/Developer professional, who will build/engineer highly-resilient and mission-critical systems that directly impact customer’s financial health on this growing successful team at Bank of America.

What is the Project/Scope on this team?

The individual will be joining the development team within the Data organization, responsible for managing single version of truth around Core Customer Profile data, Contact, Customer preferences, Customer services, AML/KYC, authentication, Client onboarding, Data rules, Downstream Data Provisioning etc., The Data Applications/SORs support individual, small business, wealth, trust and large corporation LOBs to enable “customer-data” through various real-time and batch services. Applications interact with 200+ bank channels including Online banking, Call center, Banking center, Fraud, Mortgage, Card, Private Bank etc., Dynamic and challenging environment dealing with high transaction volumes of 100+ million calls/day and response times ranging from 50-300 milliseconds, with ‘zero’ tolerance on defects, data quality issues and system downtime.

Required Skills:

•Hands on development work experience in IBM Information Analyzer/IBM web sphere/Data Stage/Quality Stage/Fast Track/Metadata workbench

•Work experience with SQL, RDBMS, complex queries, optimization and fine tuning.

•Work experience in working with data visualization tools such as Tableau

•Work experience in DataStage – Hadoop and Teradata integration

•Knowledge on Machine Learning algorithms and experience in coming up with ML models

•Work experience in integrating DataStage with BPM tools such as Pega, TIBCO, or Apache Activiti

•Work experience in integrating DataStage with Ngen, RESTful web services

•Possess a broad understanding of multiple technologies, including Mainframe, DB2, IMS, COBOL, Master Data Management, Analytics, ETL, UNIX shell scripting.

•Has an understanding of large Batch processing, knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies, exposure to all facets of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes.

Desired Skills:

MS, COBOL, Master Data Management, Analytics, ETL, UNIX shell scripting.

Banking/Financial industry background.
