Peraton is seeking a COBOL Software Development Analyst with experience developing and maintaining applications written using COBOL with IMS DB/DC experience, and JCL for IBM mainframe operating systems. Oklahoma DHS is seeking expertise to provide Application Support Services in support of the Adult and Family Services (PS2 System) and its modernization. Analysis, developing, testing, migration of source code from one technical environment to another. Documenting technical solutions for the mainframe Support quality control tester activities. Producing technical design for mainframe environments Resolving problems reported in source code Provide estimates and timelines for completion of assigned tasks. Prepare status reports and project status updates. Candidates must have experience in the following tools: COBOL, IMS DB/DC, TSO, ISPF and MS Office. This position has flexibility to be 100% remote with some in office time. BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 3years minimum experience in: COBOL development on the mainframe JCL development and maintenance IMS development and maintenance Preferred Qualifications: Has sound knowledge of Management Information Systems including specific knowledge and best practices of analysis and design, applications development, databases, processes, procedures, report writing, and techniques. Has a broad range knowledge of operating systems, telecommunications and networking, client servers, security and privacy Experience with IBM IMS hierarchical and DB2 relation database a plus. Proven skills in application development including the use of WebFocus, Adobe Live Cycle, other Internet technologies, and techniques Knowledge in Human Service is preferred
Colorado Salary Minimum: $67,600 Colorado Salary Maximum: $164,000 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
