TITLE: Cobol / .Net Developer

Location: REMOTE

Position Summary:

The Gallagher Bassett Banking & Payments development team has need of strong COBOL developer, with high levels of expertise in COBOL related development. There is also a need to have exposure and experience to Microsoft based technologies such as .NET and SQL server. Our team supports the business with many service-based applications/processes. The candidate will need to additionally work on some front-end applications utilizing Angular and Angular JS. Some level of knowledge in areas of either finance or insurance claims handling is a big plus. The right candidate will be a quick learner and be able to work both independently and as part of a small team (with support from BA/QA).

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years related experience required.

* experience in Client Non Stop Tandem platform

* Proficient in COBOL85, NMCOLBOL ,SCOBOL

* Having very good experience in SQLMP, Escribe DB

* Adequate hands experience on TACL, FUP, Batchcom, SPOOLCOM

* Development/Programming Responsibilities and Production Support Responsibilities

* Must be a good team player having excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Knowledge of Data Warehouse, MVC/Angular 9/C# is a plus
