Job Description- COBOL Developer:
Location: Remote
Work hours: 8-5 ET OR CT Mon-Fri - maybe after hours during implementation

Notes: The client is looking for some experience on these items: Easytrieve, Endevor (Change Management), Jobtrac (a scheduler), or SAR (Have not seen a lot of experience with this utility) in addition to strong COBOL and Mainframe development background.5 or more years experience developing, maintaining and testing COBOL applications on IBM z/OS.• Experience leading application development and maintenance teams for major projects.• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including interaction with clients senior leaders and operational leaders.• Endevor or BMC ISPW experience. Required EasyTrieve and JCL/Cobol knowledge.

Job Description - Production Control :
Location: Remote

  • 5 or more years experience developing, maintaining and testing JCL applications on IBM z/OS.
  • Experience leading application development and maintenance teams for major projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including interaction with clients senior leaders and operational leaders.
  • Endevor or BMC ISPW experience.
  • Required JCL/Cobol knowledge.
  • Experience with JCL for US Public sector clients
  • Works within and across practices and organizations to provide leading-edge technology or application solutions that result in profitable revenue growth for Client, where the focus is on development and delivery.
  • Develops, implements, and supports integrated solutions for client engagements.
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of industry, technology and strategy trends and uses this knowledge to generate profitable revenue growth for Client.
  • Builds relationships with product development organizations and is recognized by these organizations as a key product champion who adds value through exposure to client situations.
  • Engineers, installs, and implements complex integrated enterprise solutions.
  • Interfaces extensively with the clients senior management team (e.g., the IT Directors) on business, systems, engineering and technical issues. Provides mentoring and team leadership to other engineers.
  • Develops the integrated technology requirements project plan.
  • Integrates complex solutions into new or existing client environments.
  • May provide sales and/or proposal support as requested, prepares packaged presentations, and conducts demonstrations.
  • Uses advanced diagnostic analytical development capabilities.
  • Ensures that the best solution is provided to the customer (e.g., completes solution integrity engineering and development attributes).
