Job Description

• Minimum 5 years COBOL Development

• Extensive Experience with programming in COBOL, MicroFocus COBOL or Acu COBOL

• Experience with scripting, primarily within the Linux/Unix Environment

• Should have exp working in Enterprise Applications /ERP

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in application architecture & design, Systems and business Analysis

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial environment; understanding of Distribution, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing and EDI

• Experience with file systems and databases and in particular RDBMS (SQL Server desirable) and ISAM file systems

• Experience with software development using various languages including SQL

• Exposure to 3gl development (eg Cobol) and code generators or willingness to learn these technologies • Experience in Web services technologies, messaging and systems integration

• Experience in maintaining and supporting legacy systems

• System Testing experience and Coordinating UAT initiatives Ability to analyze and interpret and spec Technical and Business requirements
