Role : Cobol Developer (AS/400)

Location : Evansville, IN or Remote

Duration : Full Time / Contract

Job Description:

• Good coordination skills required.
• Experience : Minimum 9 years up to 13 years

Mandatory Skills:

• COBOL/400, COBOL ILE
• SQL/400
• Query/400
• Strong working knowledge in DB2/400
• ILE Concepts
• Display Files, Sub Files, Printer Files
• Embedded SQL

Additional Skills:

• Aldon, MQ Series is a plus. Worked on production support added advantage.

Technical Skills:

• iSeries Development Expertise in technologies such as ILE COBOL, ILE CL, C database DB2
• Knowledge of iSeries 7, multi-threading, Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems such as Library based system etc.
• Experience with SQL and MQ Series is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Functional Requirements and perform requirement analysis
• Estimate and Monitor Estimates
• Work with Business teams to prioritize work
• Prepare detailed design documentation
• Interface between customer and Offshore Team
• Reporting and tracking of assignments
• Fix high priority issues
