This position is a 6 months' Contract with possible extensions, for one of our key clients, which is an American multinational corporation that provides business-to-business information technology services.
Job Title: COBOL Developer
Location: 100% Remote (Client is based out of Colorado)
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information systems or related field preferred
• Experience working with the technology industry
• Experience working with client's IP such as Performance Plus and DSS.
• Experience working with computer systems and their use Domain: Insurance domain (Life & Annuity) knowledge is helpful.
• Product Knowledge: Performance Plus/DSS
• Performance Plus, COBOL, Agency/commission

Job roles and responsibilities:

• 6+ years of Mainframe application development
• Strong knowledge in COBOL, DB2, JCL
• Experience on Microfocus COBOL, z/OS, JIRA
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
