Job Title: Cobol Developer

Location: Irvine, CA, 92618 (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Pay Rate: $69/hr.

job Description:

• 10+ years of experience with Cobol.
• Well Versed in SQL.
• Strong Capital Markets knowledge.
• The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 10 years of experience as a.Senior Cobol Developer.
• Experience with Fujitso NetCobol or MicroFocus Cobol a big plus
• Unix, Unix shell scripting, and Linux experience required.
• Experience with relational databases required (Sybase a plus).
• Solid experience in full software development cycle, including application architecture, technical specs, analysis, software development, testing large-scale software applications, assisting SQA teams with UAT testing, and production support.
• Possesses the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience testing software designed for elaborate business scenarios.
