Here are the details on this position.​Your role in our missionDesign your career for growth, new possibilities and refining your valuable skills:​Strengthen our capabilities as you design, develop, install, test and document applications software — including server, client and web componentsPlay a vital role in designing, documenting and delivering technical architecture solution elementsSupport coordination between application architects and developers to make sure design requirements are accurate and deliver the desired ROI for clientsDefine and develop project requirements, functional specifications and detailed application solution designs for clientsFocus on the details as you develop technical documentation and test plans to support integration and deploymentAdvance key goals and objectives for Gainwell and our clients by working closely with software developersWhat we're looking for6+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development environment to design, code, test, implement and provide post implementation production support for COBOL/CICS/VSAM programsAbility and Experience to write  COBOL/CICS/VSAM programs from scratch; strong experience working with Internal COBOL Tables, ability to write it from scratch and update in existing programs.Ability and Experience to update complex/large  COBOL/CICS/VSAM programs; Expeditor CICS - knowledge to debug CICS programs.Have knowledge to create/update CICS Maps.Have Experience to test COBOL Batch and COBOL/CICS programs that read and update multiple VSAM files.    Strong JCL knowledge; and Strong knowledge of Utilities like SORT, File Aid. What you should expect in this roleOpportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)Availability to provide Production support during off Business hours. The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
