Senior Cobol Developer (MicroFocus or Fujitso NetCobol)

• Local to Irvine, CA or Willing to Relocate!!
• Remote to start - must be onsite when situation permits.
• Preference for someone already local but would consider non-local committed to being onsite in Irvine, CA

MUSTS

• 10 years of experience as a Sr.Cobol Developer.

•  Fujitso NetCobol or MicroFocus Cobol 

Day to Day

• The candidate will develop enhancements and new functionality for our in-house suite of applications written in Cobol.
• Responsibilities will include creation of technical specifications, architecting high-end solutions, hands-on development, creating test plans according to State Street’s published Development Process Framework and providing production support.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience as a Sr.Cobol Developer.

• Experience with Fujitso NetCobol or MicroFocus Cobol a MUST

PLUS's

• Experience with relational databases required (Sybase a plus).

• MQ, Unix and Unix shell scripting a plus.
