Genesis10 is currently seeking a Mainframe System Analyst with our client in the financial industry in their Jersey City, NJ location. This is a 12 month + contract position.

Description:

• Responsible for analysis, programming, and implementation of changes in diverse mainframe-based applications
• Ability to unit test and integration test all the changes effectively
• Ability to collaborate with other programmers
• Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from a subject matter expert

Requirements:

• The candidate should have the following technical skills: Cobol, DB2, JCL, TSO, MS Office
• Programming experience with COBOL, DB2, JCL, and Batch programming
• Programming experience with Batch/Cobol
• Strong skills in using File Manager and IBM Debug Tool
• Knowledge to use change management tool like ENDEVOR is desirable
• Knowledge to use DB2 performance tool like BMC MAINVIEW is desirable
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in the Financial Sector is desirable but not essential
• Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
